This describes exactly what the Spritely bot stores about you, and what it does not. It is a description of how the software works rather than a set of promises.
What it stores
- Your Discord user ID — the number, not your name. Your name and avatar are read from Discord when a card is drawn and are never saved.
- Your collection — which sprite and which form, when you indexed it, and when you marked it mastered.
- Your trading note — the line you type into the Trading Note box, and when you saved it.
That is the whole list.
What it does not store
- Your messages. The bot reads messages in the server only to see whether one starts with its command prefix. Anything that does not is dropped immediately and nothing is written down. Messages that are commands are not stored either — only what the command changed.
- Your email address, your real name, your IP address, or anything from your Fortnite or Epic Games account. The bot has no way to reach any of those.
- Direct messages. The bot ignores everything outside the server.
Where it lives
On one machine owned by the server's owners, in the United Kingdom. It is not in a cloud service, it is not shared with anybody, and none of it is sold, rented, or handed to advertisers. There are no adverts and no tracking on this website — no analytics, no cookies except the one that keeps an administrator signed in.
Backups
The database is copied every night and the newest fourteen copies are kept, so a mistake can be undone. A backup older than that is deleted. This means anything removed from your collection can still exist in a backup for up to fourteen days.
Who can see it
- Everybody in the server can see your card when you post it
with
/my, including your note. You choose when to post it. - Dion M. and Evan S., and selected owners within Fortnite Sprite Info & Trading, can see and edit anyone's collection through this website. That is how mistakes get fixed. Nobody gets that access by holding a Discord role — it is a list of specific people kept on the machine itself, and it can only be changed from that machine.
- Nobody else. Nothing is sent anywhere off that machine.
Getting it removed
Ask Dion M., Evan S., or one of the selected owners and they will delete your collection and your note. It is gone from the live database immediately, and out of the backups once the newest fourteen have rolled past — up to fourteen days.
Sprite artwork
Sprite pictures are copies of community-made images, stored on the same machine and served from this site. Fortnite and everything in it belong to Epic Games. If you own something here and would rather it were not, say so and it will be taken down.
Children
Discord sets its own minimum age and this bot does not check anything Discord has not already checked. If you should not be on Discord, you should not be using this.
Changes
This can change. The date at the top says when it last did.
